Ontario Volleyball Tryout Policy

All Clubs in Ontario are governed by the Ontario Volleyball Association’s (OVA) Tryout Policies.

Tryout registration for the 2026-27 season is available.

With the large number of athletes trying out for each team we are not able to allow spectators in the
gym during tryouts. There will be screened volunteers along with the coaches in the gyms at all times.
We ask that parents kindly respect this request.

Please note that athletes can register to try out for more than one team, but will be required to pay the additional registration fees.

Prior to attending tryouts athletes MUST register as a "Tryout Player" with the Ontario

Volleyball Association on MRS and MUST present a screenshot at tryouts.

MRS registration is opening September 1 2026.

ID CLINICS 2026/2027 SEASON

This is a great opportunity to meet the coach, ask questions and get a feel for how things run.

14U Athlete ID clinic is set for Friday August 21, 9:00am-11:00am at Centennial Secondary School

The Thursday September 3rd clinic is being held at Centennial Secondary School for the following age groups:

- 6v6 (12U and 13U) 5:15-6:45 pm

- 15U 6:45-8:15 pm

- 17U 8:15-9:45 pm

18U Athlete ID clinic is set for Friday September 4 at 6:45 pm - 8:15 pm at Centennial Secondary School

16U Athlete ID clinic is set for Friday September 4 at 5:15-6:45 pm at Centennial Secondary School.
